The centres of Pollena and Trocchia are united in one municipality.

The most evocative of the two is undoubtedly Trocchia with its picturesque medieval quarter. n the congregation of the Blessed Sacrament, moreover, a splendid organ of 1793 is preserved.

n Pollena, however, the most important monument is the  neoclassical church of St. James  in the central Piazza Amodio. In the territory of Pollena Trocchia, some dairies produce mozzarella and other types of cheese that belong to the Vesuvius tradition.
